Sick Leave

Back from Seoul where below zero degree celsius, I got cold at a rainy day Shanghai. Insisting back to office on Monday and at last took a sick leave and laying on bed all day at Tuesday. Something missed after the Seoul trip - take out my negative from the XA4 and get development, surprisingly it still works under extreme whether.

Another common scene you find in Shanghai. Nothing special though it makes me think of, when I was young, there was similar scene at the playground outside my home.

Do you have rubbish?

There are many people buying waste on the street in Shanghai. No matter waste paper, box, books, clothes, etc. they pay by their weight; how they weigh? See the pic. When you have a year end clearance for all the stuff in your house, pick up some worthy waste. But how they recycle cigarette?

Chilly

5pm, last Sun of Nov, light on

Winter of Shanghai comes earlier than last year I have such a feeling. -3 degree keeps you at home after work or even during weekend. However, my newly bought R3A and the broken Canon 50/1.4 kick me out of my bed.


Overcast, outside coffee shop

Having a hot coffee should never be a bad idea during a cold and overcast Shanghai.... Happy for my broken Canon still works and does its great job.

Green Environment

A Japanese teacher told me many years ago that there is quite a green environment at the downtown of HK compared with that of Tokyo, Japan.

After working in Shanghai for 2 years, I found that there is still rooms for us to learn in respect of green environment.
